The Five Areas of d3

The 18-million-square-foot Dubai Design District master plan introduces five connected areas combining residential, commercial, cultural, hospitality and public spaces. The expansion extends d3 towards Dubai Creek while remaining connected to the established creative and business district.

The five areas are linked by the Design Line, a six-kilometre car-free pedestrian route incorporating landscaped corridors, public art, event spaces and connections between homes, workplaces and lifestyle destinations.

The Creekside

The Creekside forms the waterfront residential heart of d3. Set along Dubai Creek, it includes high-rise residences, boutique hospitality, dining, retail and a landscaped promenade. Atélis at d3 and The Edit at d3 are among its first residential developments.

Design HQ

Design HQ is planned as the principal business and commercial area within the expansion. It will combine premium offices with residences, curated retail, restaurants and direct connections to the established d3 business district.

SOHO

SOHO is envisioned as an active cultural and entertainment destination. The area will include performance spaces, exhibitions, creative venues, restaurants and public areas designed to support events throughout the year.

The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is the master plan’s lower-density, wellbeing-focused residential area. It is planned around landscaped spaces, family amenities, sports facilities and views towards Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary.

The Mindspace

The Mindspace will focus on creativity, experimentation and collaboration. Planned uses include galleries, studios, shared workspaces and flexible environments for artists, designers and creative businesses.
